Duplex Apartment With A Steel Slide

This is a dream come true! When I first saw this picture I just couldn’t believe it. Someone actually designed a two level apartment with a slide inside that connects the two bedroom units.People have been dreaming about this for years and now it’s finally here thanks to the Turett Collaborative Architects. The slide starts at the top floor near the office and lands below near both the living and dining areas. It is surrounded by custom designed glass railings and floor-to-ceiling windows with views of New York.
Honestly, who needs stairs when you can have a slide in your house? It’s so much fun, practical, not to mention that it would represent a great attraction for the kids. Just imagine: after you finish working in the office you can slide into the living room to have some nice, relaxing time. Unless someone is going to come up with a carousel inside the house, this is definitely my favourite design so far.

Beautiful 111 square meters house

This exquisite and beautiful apartment house in Stockholm is simply breath taking. The interiors are lavish and spacious. Designing is very modern and hip. The den is made up in shades of brown with a book case adorning one wall. The balcony is also well decorated and overlooks the busy streets and snow capped houses . If you have a look at the plush kitchen and appliances, you will not be disappointed – A black kitchen slab looks exotic in an otherwise white theme.High chairs make up the furniture in the small kitchen area. The dining area is simply stunning – with a red and white stripped wallpaper with a lovely work of art adorning the main wall. Everything is color co-ordinated and very much in sync with the overall theme. The interiors are so superb. It makes this place look like a palace.

This is really a tranquil place to live, and yet, only a few steps away from it all.

Lavish Penthouse in Stockholm, Sweden

Sweden is already world famous for its top of the line designs and styles. Hence it comes as no surprise when we see this stunning penthouse . It is simply ‘to –die – for’ , to say the least. It seems like no expense has been spared in its décor . To give it the current look, the owners/designers must have spend a truck load as it sure does looks simply gorgeous. The white background with shades of pastel here and there is just perfect. Luxury furnishing from bedroom to living room, from verandah to dining room – all is ideal.

A lovely fireplace and exotic mantle pieces, make it look even more beautiful then it already is. They all add to the luxury and warmth this penthouse eludes. The bathroom has the best fittings and lovely design. All in all, the place is breathtaking.

Breathtaking duplex apartment with contemporary design

Featuring a living area of ninety two square meters, this is an amazing duplex apartment designed in a tasteful and welcoming Scandinavian style. Deep niches, tall windows, updated kitchen, ceiling at a height of 3.15 meters and completely equipped wash room, are the attention grabbing features of the apartment.The bottom floor is easily accessible by the staircase and also by its own entrance door opening in the courtyard. The bedroom of the apartment is also a charming feature as it follows the open floor layout. In addition, the rest of the portions of the house is very impressive and worth exploring.

The combination from dinning room of black chairs and white top table create a contemporary and modern look.All these done using a Scandinavian style on only 92 square meters.{found on freshome}

Fine Finish White Apartment by Susanna and Jussi Vento

The Vento family bought a two-bedroom, 660-square-foot apartment in Helsinki’s Punavuori district.Called “Fine Finnish”, the entire design was made with less than 4000$ but with a lot of DIY ideas.Susanna and Jussi Vento turnet a boring flat into a warm, cozy, versatile and clean white apartment.For a warmth contrast was picked a carpet with black stripes and different types of seats in the dinning/open kitchen.
Featured in dwell magazine,the apartment is definitely far from boring,creates an image of elegance, brightness and expansiveness.I’m sure that it is not full of expensive design pieces but mostly the IKEA and affordable classics. How do you like it?
