While the 2009 R1 has got a proper, full-blown makeover, most other Yamahas, including the 2009 R6, are having to make do with new colours. Likewise for the 2009 FJR1300 sports-tourer. New colours. Not happy with that? Okay, the big FJR also gets a modified clutch for smoother gear changes.

On the FJR1300AS, the semi-automatic gear-shift mechanism has been reworked, and the YCC-S electronics have been tweaked to make the system react quicker while shifting gears. Meanwhile, the Yamaha FZ1, FZ1 Fazer, FZ6 and FZ6 Fazer continue unchanged for 2009, with only… you got it... new colours being made available on the lineup.

Nissan 350z: George Hotz new car

For those of you who wish to know what kind of car George Hotz is driving it is a Nissan 350z, ok many of you do not know who Hotz is he is the man who traded his hacked iPhone for the Nissan 350z sports car. This is just the latest in a long line of Z sports cars from the Japanese automaker. For those of you who do not know much about the Nissan 350z, it is a sports car that offers great performance at a realistic price.

The 350Z has a sleek look that can accelerate as fast as it can brake, and when it comes to handling, it can compete with vehicles more expensive than itself. Many sports cars are great for racing but cannot handle the day to day driving, that is what makes the Nissan 350z different.

The car comes in two varieties a convertible soft-top roadster or a two-seat coupe, both perform just as good as each other, although the coupe with its reduced weight does have the slight edge and the fact that it has a better structural rigidity. The engine used to power the 350z is a 3.5-liter V6 which sends the power to the rear wheels. There is a five-speed automatic transmission as well as a six-speed manual transmission.

Speeding Up With the Mazda3

Two years ago, Mazda has been busy with its launch of the Mazda Mazda3. And yes, every effort they did was worth it. The result was a total vehicle that would make heads turn. No doubt about it. And if you’re asking if this would be just a new line of models, perhaps it could be. However, the company had to halt the Mazda Protégé series to make room for the Mazda3.

Upon its introduction, what does the Mazda3 boast of? Well, here are some:
* It looks high class and sophisticated.
* If you think Europe means sophistication and grace, then that is also what the Mazda3 has.
* It has been made available in a couple of options with regards to its body style. You can have it as a four door vehicle. Or you can also choose to purchase it as a hatchback with five doors.
* You want space? This vehicle has it. Graciously.
* It also has fat fender flares, an Alfa 147-esque rear, and a Mazda front end. What is the Mazda front end? Look at what a Mazda looks like from the front.
* Yes, it is dynamic, and delivers superbly.
* Elegant. Comfortable. Safe.
* Options include LED tail lights, a electroluminiscent backlit blue and red display, stereo, aero enhancements, a new grille, 17 inch wheels, and package upgrades like the Sports Appearance package.
* Available power sources? There’s the 2.0 liter engine that can produce some 148 units of horsepower. Also is the 2.3 liter engine with four cylinders that can produce 150 units of horsepower. The latter is used in the Mazda6!
* To assist performance is a five speed manual transmission system or a four speed automatic transmission system. The Mazda3 also gets help from a 11.8 inch front brake and a 11 inch rear disc brake.
