Fiat Freemont Minivan

By Deni Afffgty

Fiat Freemont Minivan. A source at Fiat said that Chrysler will discontinue sales of the Dodge Journey in Europe and instead will market minivan, the Fiat brand. According to these sources also said that the minivan version of Fiat's major will be called the Freemont, and will replace another Fiat minivans, the Ulysse. Fiat Ulysse stop production this month because of sluggish sales, last year, Fiat Ulysse sold only 1956 units.

Fiat Freemont is an important part of the plan-Chrysler CEO of Fiat, Sergio Marchionne to cut development costs and increase capacity utilization at factories car with cross selling vehicles from Fiat Group and the Chrysler group brands. Freemont Fiat officially became a rebadged version (brand rate) of the Dodge Journey at the auto show in Los Angeles Motor Show, last November, to be little change in the exterior design, a revised interior and suspension are modified. Freemont carrying diesel 2000 cc Fiat engine that produces maximum power up to 170 hp, this is the first application of the Fiat engine in Chrysler vehicles (currently Journey 2,000 cc diesel engine 140 hp supplied by Volkswagen AG).

Fiat hopes Freemont will have greater sales potential than Ulysse because it will offer all-wheel-drive, which is not owned Ulysse, in addition, Freemont diesel engine is more powerful than the current Journey and its sales will be supported through more 5000 Fiat sales network in Europe, which is far larger than Chrysler, so they can offer more potential sales. Freemont Fiat will be exported to Europe from the Chrysler plant in Toluca, Mexico, who build the Dodge Journey and the Fiat 500 for North America. The plan, Fiat will debut Freemont at auto show in Geneva in March 2011, then followed by the launch of its sales in Europe in June 2011.

Fiat Freemont is actually a "right machine designed to meet the diverse needs of families and looking for a spacious car, comfortable and versatile to serve the fast pace of daily life or leisure weekend. The vehicle combines the flexibility and functionality with its distinctive and original style. Dimensions (length of 489 cm, width 188 cm and 172 cm height) provides excellent interior space, helped by the best in its class wheelbase (289 cm).

Fiat Freemont ensure maximum space, comfort and versatility due to its 7-passenger seating with a real third row seats spacious which are easily accessible when the doors open 90 degrees. The third row seats can be folded with a flick of disappearing under the floor and create a platform for regular load. The second row seats are mounted higher than on the forehead, while the third row is highlighted in relation to each other by giving maximum visibility to all passengers.

Dual Screen Portable DVD Players

By Peter Kerl

Dual Screen Portable DVD Players. The portable DVD players are a scaled down version of the ones that we use at home - they are perfect for using in the car or if they are battery powered, could keep your kids entertained even if you go on a picnic or camping. In the past, they suffered from a number of drawbacks such as poor audio quality, support for limited file formats, and used to be quite expensive as well. However, the advancements in the electronics industry have brought the prices down, the picture quality is often outstanding, and the sound quality if not perfect, is at least adequate.

Since more often than not, they are used as in-car DVD players, the dual-screen models are perfect. They are mounted on the front seats' headrests, and they allow at least two backseat passengers to enjoy the movies, which is especially useful if you do not want your kids bickering while on the road. In most cases, the dual-screen DVD players have only one play unit, which means that the same movie is shown on both screens. Depending on the make and the model, various power options are available, but if you intend to use the player outside the home or vehicle, then a battery-powered one is a must.

The twin-screen portable players are more expensive than the single screen ones, but they could be seen by larger audience, and their advantages far outweigh the price difference. They are also manufactured and sold by some of the top companies in the World and are often very well built, sturdy, and come with amazing number of different functions. Almost all of them make use of a skip protection, which ensures better viewing experience, and some of the top models have power resume feature as well. The players, which have been built in the past few years, also support a dozen of the most widely used audio and video file formats and play not only DVD and audio CDs, but could also display JPG images. Despite the fact that they have been created for entertainment, they could be easily used by agents and sales representatives for presentations as well. The portable DVD players are very easy to set up, have good picture quality, and some of them support widescreen formats as well. Before deciding on which brand and model to buy, you should also find out what kind of accessories the player comes with. AV and mains cables would allow you to use the unit at home, and watch the movies on your large TV screen if you choose to, and the availability of a remote control would let you operate the player from the front seat of the car.

Gott im Himmel! Rennsport und Familiewagen! Our spies have snapped what appears to be Audi’s new RS4 Avant undergoing testing at a local track in Germany’s Eifel Mountains colloquially known as “The Green Hell.” (Perhaps you’ve heard it called the “Nürburgring.”) The tells that this is an überwagen? I'm In A Hurry To Get Things Done

Oh I rush and rush until life's no fun.
All I really gotta do is live and die,
But I'm in a hurry and don't know why

Don't know why I have to drive so fast.
My car has nothing to prove.
It's not new.
But it'll do zero to sixty in five point two.

Whoosh! There goes another one. Isn’t the speed limit 75 mph? I’m doing 73 and people are blowing by me like I’m parked! Further down the Interstate it turns to 80 mph. They still fly by. What’s the deal?

Why are people in such a hurry? It’s hurry to work, hurry to get things done, hurry to go home…just so you can do it all again tomorrow. Why is everyone in such a rush?

We all talk about not having enough time. We say there’s never enough time in a day. Time for what? To hurry through whatever it is we are doing so we can just do more? The more time we seem to have the more we try to squeeze into it. Are we setting unrealistic goals for ourselves? Is that the pressure to hurry and get there?

The message to hurry is seen everywhere. What do fast food, convenience store, and drive through window bring to mind? Does the hurry-up attitude we have promote happiness? Are you happy? Do you have fun? Do you enjoy yourself? Or are you going so fast you don’t even notice the things around you? What would happen if we all slowed down and took the time to actually take pleasure in something? Instead of rushing to our destination maybe we should experience the journey.
Think about the week ahead of you. Make a conscious effort one day and live that day. Don’t think of the things you need to do or didn’t get done. Concentrate on what you are doing now. Don’t beat yourself up for past mistakes. Think of what you can achieve. Look around. Slow your thinking. Notice things you never saw before. Take pleasure in what you are doing. Hurrying is often a mindset. It’s not always in how fast we do things.

A knitting friend of mine posted the other day and said, “Ever wish you could hit the pause button on the world just long enough to catch up?” Maybe that’s the key. Pause; slow down; experience your life.

Oh, I hear a voice
That says I'm running behind.
Better pick up my pace.
It's a race and there ain't no room for someone in second place…

Sometimes I do get in a hurry. Probably because I like to hit the snooze button and then I have to rush so I won’t be late. But I don’t go over the speed limit. Sometimes I am a little late but I figure in all the time I’ve put in it really doesn’t matter. I’m not in a hurry to get through with knitayear. Well, I am and I’m not. It’s kept me focused in a strange way. I had a commitment. And I actually kept it up. I sometimes had to do two or three days worth of knitting but I kept a record of how I felt and I added yarn to mark it. Day 361, March 27, and I’m headed to Austin. I’m getting something new added to my other duties at work and this is an update meeting. Of course the plane is delayed when we hit Dallas. But otherwise it’s a smooth flight. When we got to Austin we ate at the Magnolia Café. It’s an Austin place and eclectic but good. Then we tried checking into our hotel. It was supposed to have all been taken care of but when we got there it was mass confusion. The poor girl at the desk got us in but not without a lot of trouble. I chose a pale aqua that has some red in it. Day 362, March 28, is the first day of meetings. It’s okay but they really can’t tell us much until all the legislative sessions have ended. So we heard a lot of stuff like this is how it is but it could change. Really informative but not their fault I guess. I would have thought it smarter to just postpone and meet after the legislative session. But they didn’t ask me. We had a dinner meeting at a good place called Vivo’s. It’s another Austin place. I had food of course but also a Hibiscus Margarita. It was pretty and it was tasty. We had an informal meeting and all was good. When we left all of the women were presented with a long stem rose. It’s a Vivo thing but it’s a nice touch. I chose a pink variegated rayon boucle.
Raising my glass!
Day 363, March 29, and I’m on the way home. There’s another day of meetings but I have night class. So I hurry to get back to go to work. Is there something wrong with that picture? It’s an easy time though and I couldn’t ask for a better student. I choose white cotton. Day 364, March 30, and it’s back to work. I’m kind of rejuvenated after our meeting. I know it won’t last but it’s good occasionally. I chose purple and yellow rayon boucle for this day. And then, it’s the last day of knitayear. It’s day 365, March 31, and again it’s just another day at work. Nothing exciting. I meet a friend after work and we eat supper at Rosa’s. It’s good for something different. One of my former students is the manager and he didn’t recognize me. I think it’s funny when that happens. I was actually thoughtful and brought something home for Alan. I chose green from a rainbow variegated for this day. I finished knitayear! I will reflect on it later.
Finished with the last strip!
I do have to admit that I sometimes want to hurry when it comes to knitting. I just have too much yarn and not enough time! I waste a lot of knitting time looking at things to knit. If I’d just get busy I’d accomplish a lot more! But generally it’s relaxing and I go at my own speed. Cause really, all you gotta do is live and die.
What a beautiful mess!
I'm in a hurry to get things done.
Oh I rush and rush until life's no fun.
All I really gotta do is live and die.
But I'm in a hurry and don't know why.

Approaches to Camaro Restoration

Approaches to Camaro Restoration

Author: Terry Newman

All restoration is not the same. There are progressive levels of quality that can be achieved in Camaro Restoration or in restoring any classic vehicle, and they are based primarily on how much time and money you can put in. Keep this in mind if you're looking to buy a restored classic. Some will be far better than others. If you are restoring one then give it the best you've got.

There is, of course, the cheap way, which appeals to lots of folks for the obvious reason: it's cheaper than other ways. The cheap way is to give a cosmetic make-over by doing some quick body work, giving it a paint job, and giving the engine a once-over with a little cleaning and painting. Those who choose this method are generally trying to make a fast buck or just don't have the money or time to do a good job. You can make an engine look good without rebuilding it, but all you have is a dressed up old engine. Low-quality body work usually comes back to haunt you later on, since it won't stand the test of time. Also there are problems with keeping old parts intact as they are already living on borrowed time, since most of the classics are thirty to forty years old. So the cosmetic makeover won't take you very far down the road (so to speak.)

One approach that's more affordable than a full restoration is the "frame up" restoration. This will include mostly work on the body, engine, and interior. The frame is given only a once-over to replace badly worn parts, such as brake lines. This approach cuts corners where the frame is concerned, but does give a good look and makes the vehicle relatively "highway-safe."

To go a little further in the restoration level would require a body off restoration, where the body is removed from the frame. This gives greater access to the frame and the floor pan as well as allowing for the replacement of nuts and bolts. The frame can be taken apart and sand-blasted, the exhaust system replaced, along with all the the suspension parts, ball joints and tie rod ends. The trunk and interior are restored to like-new condition and the engine can be rebuilt.

The Rotisserie method can be used for many of the classic vehicles with the unibody style of body. With this type of body the subframe and rear end can be removed allowing the body to be placed on a "rotisserie" arrangement. The vehicle can be turned to give access to any area that needs to be worked on. The Rotisserie method allows for best access to all areas so the highest amount of restoration can be achieved.

The deployment of the brand-new 2011 BMW Sport Cars 1-Series M Coupe Safety Car marks the continuation of BMW M GmbH’s successful partnership – begun in 1999 – with Dorna Sports, the organisers of the MotoGP World Championship. With a fleet of eight vehicles, BMW is supporting the safe running of the motorcycle world championship in the current race season.
As well as the official 2011 BMW Sport Cars 1-Series M Coupe Safety Car, this year sees two further reserve Safety Cars from BMW M GmbH present at the track: a BMW X6 M and a BMW M3. In addition, the organising team has been given a BMW X5 M for the Safety Officer and a BMW ActiveHybrid X6 for the stewards. On call this season as a Medical Car is a BMW 535i Touring. There will also be two Safety Bikes contributing to the safe running of race weekends: a BMW S 1000 RR and a BMW HP2 Sport.

The ceremonial handover of the vehicles took place at BMW M in Garching-Hochbrück on 28th February 2011. It was on this occasion that Dr Kay Segler, Director of BMW M GmbH, and Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO Dorna Sports, made an advance announcement that the successful partnership would be extended until 2016, before sealing the agreement in a signing ceremony.
