Bentley introduced Bentley Mulsanne in India at price tag of 2.9 crores rs. for the luxury car buyers. Bentley Mulsanne is one of the most expensive Bentley Sedan launched in India.
Bentley Mulsanne comes with 6.8-litre twin turbo V8 engine. Bentley's new twin turbo V8 under the hood generates an impressive 505 bhp (512 ps) and a gargantuan 1020 nm (there is no typo here, we have not double but tripple checked the figure!) of torque at barely 1750 rpm.
Its very tough for the luxury cars priced around crores can have good sales but still Indian Automobile Market is in good condition. People can afford costly cars for their luxury. Few days back Rolls-Royce Phantom was lauched as well. Costliest luxury cars may have a good safe if the economic condition will favor indian people.
New Bentley Mulsanne offers huge modification options which includes 114 paint colors, nine wood veneers, 21 carpet colors and all of which would be tanned using a decade-old process to ensure that this future classic is retained as per autoholiks.
Bentley Regional Director (Middle East, Africa and India) Chris Buxton said, "We will start global production of the Mulsanne in the second half of the year. We will produce 600 units of Mulsanne annually for the global market and the quota for India is yet to be decided. We have received global bookings even for the year 2011. India is the hub of luxury, the country of the former Kins who were the true supporters of custom-made luxury items. We have been getting cheering response from our valued customers and I think the launch of the Mulsanne will truly delight our loyal and discerning customers."
