Mercedes-Benz BIOME


Mercedes-Benz will use the Los Angeles Auto Show 2010 as the initial introduction of the latest concept car Concept biome. Cars made by Mercedes-Benz Study Center in Carlsbad, California, Advanced Design, it is claimed will be the future of environmentally friendly cars that can consume alternative fuels.
Although the dimensions of this car looks great, but the biome is simply a two-passenger vehicle. Mercedes-Benz said the biome shorter than the C-Class, wider than the GL-Class, and lower than the SLK.
"This car will be a picture of the vision of the future Mercedes-Benz vehicles. We combine the natural elements to create a biome, "said Hubert Lee heads a study center.
Biome that only weighs 454 kg, made of extremely lightweight material known as BioFibre. The weight of this material revealed lighter than metal or plastic. BioFibre itself is made from plant fibers.
To move the biome, Mercedes-Benz utilize BioNectar4534, a solar energy system that is placed in storage containers are made from chemical compounds. Hebarnya, imaginative car is able to create oxygen for a better life.
